This constructive typology, strongly linked to a territory and a way of life that today has practically disappeared. The cabins that remain today are the cultural and architectural heritage of Cantabria, along with them, the farms and fenced meadows constitute a unique cultural landscape in the world that must be valued and protected.

Brena the cabin is committed to sustainable architecture, based on the fundamentals of bioclimatic design, the use of natural and environmentally responsible materials, as well as a commitment to local suppliers with the aim of generating a positive impact on the economy of the area.

The rehabilitation of this cabin will allow us to preserve part of this pasiego heritage, both cultural and architectural, preserving its identity but also providing it with what is necessary to obtain the comfort and touch of modernity of the 21st century.
