BANLUSA HOUSE

Location: Valladolid, Spain

Year of construction: 2020
Architect: Sara Acebes

Photographer: Victor de la Fuente

Framing the landscape, that was one of the first concepts and objectives in the design of this house.

Located in a very special enclave, a natural environment, whose land belongs to an urbanization on the outskirts of the city of Valladolid, in the heart of the Esgueva valley and very close to the Duero Canal, corresponding to the municipality of Renedo de Esgueva.

The house opens onto the landscape, as if trying to catch it, turning its views towards pine mounds, one of them  it is situated right in front of the large windows, places of observation of pictures typical of a painting.

Developed, all of it, on the ground floor and in a U-shape, the distribution of the rooms has a well zoning  differentiated, one area at night and another  at daytime. The kitchen receives the morning light and opens to the living room through a small island that separates the spaces. The living room with large openings facing west, allows you to enjoy the sunsets almost every month of the year.
